Jamelia: WAGs are embarassing

We genuinely thought that Jamelia's whole 'I'm not a WAG, bitches' shtick would be over as soon as she realized she wasn't a WAG, that when she was freed of her WAG-duties she would no longer feel compelled to announce to reporters at random that she 'earned every penny'. No such thing - Jamelia continues to fight the good fight: "To be described as being a WAG is more embarrassing than anything. A lot of them actively went out to find a footballer - it's an awful basis on which to start a relationship. I've made a few friends, but some WAGs don't work -they just stay at home or go shopping. It's so competitive - 'Where did you go on holiday? Where did you stay?' I get irritated because I've earned every penny I have."

The R&B star is also forging onwards with the 'Byfield is amazing' campaign although Millwall's worst-kept secret is that Darren 'Boy Toy' Byfield cheated on her with some blond hoochie last summer. Move on, honey. Common sense says that when you keep having to tell yourself and everyone else around you everything's 'fine', things are not fine.
