Steven Gerrard breaks a kid's leg

Steven Gerrard was involved in a car accident in Birkdale, Merseyside yesterday and hit a 10-year-old boy breaking his leg. The boy ran out from the street and was hit by Gerrard's Bentley.
Gerrard's publicist: "The Liverpool captain was distressed over the accident and has been in contact with the boy's family to check his progress and plans to visit him in the next couple of days. There were apparently several eye-witnesses who saw the accident. Steven later attended a police station where he produced his driving documents as a matter of routine and made a statement about the accident."
Gerrard's publicist is saying he's 'distressed' - which we are not ashamed to say brought on some major LOLs. How are you going to say a grown man is 'distressed' when he just ran over a 10 year-old child? It's not like he lost a Champions League final or anything. That's like so last season.
