BECKS THINKS TOM CRUISE IS ROMANTIC
At the Hollywood premiere of Lions for Lambs, Becks said the following about Tom Cruise:
"He’s such a romantic man, and a great guy, and a great friend."
Now, it's possible we don't have enough insight on male friendships and all but, we can't have been the only people that found this slightly weird.
What kind of guy starts off a description of his friend with 'ooooh, he's really romantic'? It's kind of like, well how the hell do you know? And this was the guy voted top 'man's man' or whatever? We are confused. Men, explain yourselves.
Oh, and we're so sure it wasn't a coincidence that Victoria wasn't at the premiere. Things between Tom and Vic have been a bit stressed lately what with her turning him down for SG tickets and all. She told him that she couldn't hook him up because the tickets were 'sold out'.

As man I have to say... no, I've never had an opinion on another man being romanitc or not. And as a man that is quite understanding in Becks "metrosexuality" (is there something else we can call this yet?), I think that says a lot. That's a little much.
Right? Good to know we weren't having a momentary lapse of judgement here. We thought the male species was turning on us or something.
