EVRA REALLY, REALLY WANTS TO WIN THIS TIME, SPOUTS GIBBERISH ABOUT FERRARIS
[Is that Sandra? The dark hair really, really suits her.] The last time Evra was at the Champions League final was back in '04 with Monaco when his side lost the trophy to Sex in an Overcoat's, Porto. This time though, our favourite Chelsea-groundstaff-punching footballer (god, we loved that story), is going to the CL final with United and is definitely in it to win it.
Bitter memories are spurring him forward:
"It is my second final and the game is now the most important game in my life. I don’t want to lose a final a second time. It holds bad memories for me. I joke that I went to the final with Monaco in a Fiat. Now I am going with the Ferrari – but I know I need to drive the Ferrari very well!"
A Fiat? Well, that's not very nice is it, Paddy? Yeah, even if it is a little bit true.
Jak over at FL informs us that it's also Patrice's birthday today. The boy's turning 27 so many well-wishes go out his way. Here's to hoping he didn't spend all of his time insulting Monaco and pining for the CL trophy.
