CHERYL'S OPINION DU JOUR: ON EXPRESSING SYMPATHY
According to the ever-reliable Sun Cheryl Cole's finding the judge's experience at X Factor quite trying.
"Cheryl has sat there crying quite a lot. It really reminds her of her own background and start in music. She came from a humble home in Newcastle and had to battle to get through Popstars: The Rivals."
If any of you have had the the bad luck (don't lie, you're watching So You Think You Can Dance just as intently as we are) to tune in to any of these sorts of talent reality shows, you know how it is: 'Hi my name is so-and-so. [Cut to clip of them cuddling a puppy and talking about how their parents died when they were three/how they spent their last cent getting to the auditions/how music helps them work through their emotional issues/how they just left an abusive relationship/how hard it was reintegrating into society after being raised by wild wolves.]'
Anyhow, the crying, we've decided, is a prelude to Cheryl cracking up a la Paula Abdul which is when she'll start appearing on the show drunk, doing the stiff-clap (Paula really does clap weird. And feels the need to stand up for every single song.), and telling the future.
