LIVE-BLOG: ITALY V HOLLAND
[Fabio Cannavaro: Well, he's sort of there.]The Group of Death and Dying will finally get rolling today and in our usual live-ramble style, TIET and Jak (TFO) from Fresh Legs will be here to guide you through Italy v Holland.
However, we've got to say, we don't quite like the 'Death' moniker all that much. Morbid images of death and all that just aren't very conducive to the bright and fun atmosphere we're trying to create here. It just doesn't quite roll of the tongue.
Let's pick a new nickname, shall we?:
- The Group of 'Canna is not there'
- The Group of 'They're probably faking injury to get the hell away from van Basten'
- The Group of 'I'm punching someone if Thierry goes out early'
- The Group of 'The Dutchies will spend more time trying to kill each other than actually playing football'
- The Group of 'If Romania make it out of this group, hell shall freeze over, Britney Spears will start wearing undies, Whitney's spin-off will actually interest me and Ashlee Simpson will spout talent and glory out of her ears'
Fine, forget "bright and fun".
The Group of [insert adjective/personal rant] starts today and Injured v Injured will start us off.
You'll join us, won't you?
