BRINGING THE LOLS: DOMENECH GETS TO KEEP HIS JOB
[The joke's getting old, guys.]No clue how this happened exactly but good ol' Psycho-D has managed to keep his job as France manager.
The FFF president Jean-Pierre Escalettes:
"Domenech's record is not that bad as coach. It is not catastrophic."
Mm-hm. Okay, 'not catastrophic', go on.
"He qualified us for successive major competitions (the 2006 World Cup and the 2008 European Championships). I did not want emotion and passion to get the better of reason."
Yeah, and that might have a lot to do with the fact that half the sqaud wasn't on the verge of a cane and walker back then, good sir.
Apparently a few players vouched for him -- Vieira, Ribery, Benzema, Sagnol -- which helped the FFF come to the decision. There was also some jabbering about the French team evolving (as usual) which makes the decision to keep Domenech on as coach especially bizarre.
TIET Final Verdict: Morons. This is not cute.

And I gave up on the French the moment they lost the WC final and from there went to a downward spiral and ended up here: playing like crap and not qualifying for the knockout stages! Viva la France! Domenech is an idiot - the FFF should at least give it to a man who can offer just a wee little bit more.
